Venue Chosen and Booked! :)

Finally!

We have chosen and booked a venue. Which venue did we go to in the end? Enderun Colleges!

Although Manila Hotel was our first choice the last time, we were put off by the unresponsiveness and poor handling of inquiries of the Account Executive that we spoke to. Firstly, she took a long time to respond to emails that you have to remind her a couple of times through text messages and a lot of broken promises from her before she could get back to you. Secondly, there came a point that she no longer took our phone calls and never responded to text messages.  Maybe Manila Hotel is not too bothered to lose potential clients that they let their Account Executives to be like this.  They are a popular events venue after all.

So instinctively, we went to our second option which is Enderun Colleges. The Account Executive handling the events was so nice to talk to and very responsible with her commitments. When she says she will message you details within the week, she definitely will.  Plus, it was easy booking with them because they accept credit card payments, so no need to bring lots of cash with you when you sign a contract with them.

Together with my very supportive brother – Mohammad, who was just as excited as us, we booked. While we were waiting for the contract as the Account Executive prepares it for us, we stayed in Restaurant 101 and had some refreshments. We also had a chance to take some more photos of the venue, in other angles this time (as if there wasn’t already enough! haha).

The “Majestic Door” as they call it. For the Bride’s dramatic entrance to her ceremony.

The "Garden Wall" nearby to the restrooms where guests can lounge to get away from all the party action for a while. They also have a wheelchair ramp next to it. And there is my fiancé getting into the details with their Account Representative while i take some photos. :)

Their “Worry-Free” wedding packages ranges from P139,000 up for 100 guests, P161,000.00 up for 150 guests and P187,000 up for 200 guests. Prices vary depending on the caterer and the package of your preference.

Pros:

• Very photogenic architecture.

• Cozy and relaxing ambiance.

• Perfect for intimate celebrations.

Cons:

• Next to the road, you could hear vehicles and people passing by. The area is a bit busy as it is surrounded by industrial and residential buildings.

• We got lost going to the location, their directional signboards were not that obvious and helpful. (As i remember they only have 1 along Commonwealth Avenue, and we have to guess our way once inside the area.)

• Limited parking space for the guests, any vehicles over the capacity will have to park their cars outside on the side of the street unprotected.

• The Chateau, their main hall, is going to be too crowded for our planned layout for our reception, which includes a dancefloor and band area provision.

I cannot comment about the food because we did not have a chance to have a foodtasting with them. As soon as we were leaving, we were pretty much sure that the place was not for us. So off to the next location we go.
